Social media is full of relationship horror stories, leaked text messages, and dating red flags. It seems like every week that blood lusted prima donnas, arm chair experts, and the terminally online, dish out unwarranted, unrealistic, and usually useless dating advice, about people they don’t know and circumstances they don’t understand. “DUMP HIM! You deserve better gurl! She belongs to the streets!” I hear. It’s exhausting. Spend a few hours online and no doubt you’ll start to think the world of relationships, and the language of love, are long since dead. ….yet to step outside into the real world will tell you a different and more reassuring story. Couples holding hands in the park, sitting in peaceful silence, or quietly giggling on the back row – are everywhere. These are the people *not* giving advice on healthy relationships online, because they’re too busy living them. Whilst the whines, tantrums and bitter hot-takes of social media influencers, are usually given by those who have never known such happiness, who blame everyone else, and who have yet to realise that ‘the problem’ is probably them. This is not a post for those people. It is for you… quietly reading on the grass together, lying in bed holding hands, or heading out for dinner. So tell us, what screams healthy relationships to you? ~ Images by Codioful. #relationshipgoals #relationshipadvice #datingadvice #romance
