Sat alone in the cockpit of that giant commercial jet, Beebo glided around volcanos, visited the Olympic Mountain range, and even searched for Orcas. His reckless, and by his own admission, “selfish” and “stupid” actions, turned him into an instant cult icon who captured the imagination of millions of men around the world.
