Men, you are not toxic, problematic or defective, you are no more inherently dangerous than anyone else.
You are not animals and should not be treated like one. You are not trash. You are not pigs. You are not evil.
You are men. And that’s okay – always remember that.
The criminal system is what is broken. And the world has rightly woken up to how Black Americans are unfairly treated by it.
So why – despite compelling evidence – can’t we fix it for men too?
We cannot solve systemic criminal racial bias, without addressing criminal gender bias too.
