No amount of money ever bought a single second of time. So don’t waste it. Amongst the life treasures and shiny trinkets idolised by social media - the fast cars, expensive watches, and wardrobes of designer clothes; it’s easy to forget that it’s only time that nobody is making any more of. It is life’s great leveller. Because the man with the most toys still dies, and none of it can be taken with him. We all share the same inevitable destiny of life’s finite beauty, and sadly some of us arrive at the end sooner than others. If you follow this page you will likely know already how men live shorter lives on average, in every country on earth. It doesn’t matter where you go, or who you are, it is the shared experience of all the world’s men, that is rooted in both biological reality and cultural influence. Yes. Sorry men… whoever you are, wherever you live; the simple fact remains, you just have less sand in your hourglass – making it all the more precious. This is only compounded further by the fact that many men must also work until later in life than women, before their retirement. Because of the ninety or so countries that offer its citizens a state pension, one-in-three will be awarded to women years before it is awarded to men. So men stay on the treadmill a little longer, and check out a little sooner, depriving them of their golden years, and the only thing nobody is able to buy - time. Time at home. Time with family. Time with those we love. So why are we burning the candle at both ends when it comes to men? What is the cost, and why is nobody talking about it? ~ Source: Harvard Life Expectancy Retirement ages Study Images by Matt Bennett, Elena Kloppenburg, Andrew Oullet, Kier Insight, Fruit Basket Agency, Rob Wicks, Angelina Litvin, Codioful and Kiwi Hug.
