









According to the APA, masculinity is characterised by strength, stoicism, aggression, and power.
And like our academic institutions, our social networks, the public and much of our media, the APA presents these aspects of masculinity as America’s largest male problem.
The hypermasculine man and apex predator; the protagonist of countless films, books, franchises and Netflix specials.
But does this line up with what we see in reality?
Are these the characteristics of strength, stoicism, aggression and power the ones we see within America’s most violent young men?
Let’s take a look at the most dangerous men of all.
