When it comes to the issues I discuss on this page, sexual violence surely ranks amongst the most important. And because of this, it’s important that we have a foundation of well conducted, ethically written research at its core. Sadly, too often this is missing… Instead, we have sensational studies, that use deliberately vague, misleading apparatus, to create inflated, terrifying, headline grabbing claims, that generate a lot of heat... but very little light. So let’s take a look at one of the most recent examples – a study that recently claimed '95% of men, forced a woman into having sex'.
