It doesn’t matter how much evidence piles up. It doesn’t matter how many experts shout from the roof top, or the voices of authority that ring out across society… some people will never believe you. And why? Is it because their fundamental identity is tied to a absolutist doctrine remaining true? Is their wilful ignorance simply them protecting a grander world view at all costs? Are people just more interested in being popular, than they are in being right? Has a lifetime of spouting ‘male privilege’ and ‘patriarchy’ made them immune to basic political truths?
