When I was young, I had a dressing up box. In it were all manner of things; a suit and tie, a grass skirt, a tiger skin Tarzan-style robe, and even a wedding dress. I would dress up, do my nails, and hair, and walk around the village – even going into the local Spar, to do my ‘weekly shop’. I never felt embarrassment, I never even knew I should. But at some point that all stopped. Don’t me wrong, I don’t want to do these things anymore, and if I did in South London, I would no doubt make the evening news, in the worst possible way. Still, I enjoy wearing colours and patterns when I can (usually socks), but in ways feel envious of the colours, shapes, and styles, I don’t have access to anymore. So, I wonder, what would men do, if they could, free of judgement? What do you think? #mensmentalhealth #fyp #guytalk
