Why is well intended, honest and compassionate content, so unmarketable? Why do brands seem to prioritse looking good, over being right? God damn it. What is so wrong about talking about men? I’ve been posting this content almost daily for two years now, and it’s a curious thing that no brand has ever contacted me in support. In fact - the only time Instagram has sent me a message, was to tell me my content was being deleted. It’s not like my content isn’t good either, my engagement is higher than channels five times this size, and my following more balanced than most others. So where are my discount codes? Where are my invites to meet with policy makers? Where are my photo opportunities and book deals? Not that it matters. If anything, without having to represent corporate interests, I’m free to say what I like, post what I want and do as I choose. Maybe my content isn’t for sale at all, but it is strange how nobody has never put in an offer. What do you think? ~
