I am constantly surrounded by unanswered questions. Problems unsolved and unaddressed. Issues un-investiaged and solutions never given. Research remained undone, words left unsaid, advocacy simply ignored. I am often asked questions I cannot fully answer, not just because I don’t know, but because nobody does. Nobody knows what’s going on to men and boys, and nobody cares to find out why. You may think we live in a patriarchy, but the reality is that there are no government politicians advocating for men and boys. No ministerial positions established to help men and, no funding, no committees or departments, and no political will to fix this. One of the long term goals of this account is to advocate the British Government to assign a Minister for Men, to investigate, discuss and ultimately be held accountable for many of the issues I discuss here. We rightly have a Minister for Women, a Minister for Women’s Health, and since 2022 a new Ambassador for Women’s Health. None of these positions currently exist for men. And it’s about time they did. So what kind of questions would we ask them?
