Step one for this account is to encourage others not to call men “trash”. Asking society to simply see men as human beings is not a particularly ambitious goal, and sadly it’s one that is harder to achieve than I expected. People often dig their heels in and splutter something about “not understanding”, or “it’s not like that”, or even going as far as to call *me* a sexist, and “part of the problem.” So let’s widen the discussion – What do you think is driving this sassy catch phrase?
