We’re not so different you and I, as often the problems we speak about, although seemingly different, are actually two sides of the same coin.
Men and women, despite living different lives, face problems that are bound together.
The consequences of one, impact those of another. And the solution to one side, can sometimes be the solution to both.
So do men’s lack of parental rights impact #thepaygap?
And might fatherlessness be behind violence against women?
It’s not such an unusual idea, that the issues that women and men face are inextricably linked.
And if so, we are, all of us, on the same side.
All trying to solve the same fucked up jigsaw, from different angles and with different tools.
So how can we learn to listen and talk, and share and solve - with one another?
Aren’t we on the same side after all?
What do you think?
