At the centre of reproductive rights in America is the landmark, precedent setting legal case of Roe v. Wade – an historic battle between Jane Roe and Henry Wade in 1973, that ultimately won women the right to reproductive choice.
And right now America’s Supreme Court is weighing in on the future of these rights, confident in overturning Roe v. Wade and as a consequence stripping women of 40 years of reproductive autonomy.
