Fairweather politics, the constantly changing appetites of an unchallenged audience, and the pressure to respond instantly to breaking events as they develop, isn’t a great combination.
It’s often a race to find your chosen placard, jump to your feet and wave it in the air.
And when emotions run high and the pressure is on, the words inscribed on that digital sign aren’t always great.
These words, haphazardly smeared across the screen, are also often inconsistent with those made in the past.
Even ones from the previous days or week.
So here are some honourable mentions of posts that I personally find unhelpful, inconsistent, hypocritical and counter productive.
