Don’t Worry It’s Only Men

‘There’s no such thing as female privilege!’

Such a sentence is too brutally stupid to be offensive. In fact, getting upset by such a silly soul, would be like getting upset at a child who still believes in Santa Claus.

No, the world is not as black and white as what many try to tell us.

And if you don’t think there are certain privileges to being a woman, I suggest you take a trip to the refugee camps of Calais, or visit the Ebola crisis of Sierra Leone, the Haitian hurricane relief efforts, the ongoing war in Ukraine, or indeed the male refugees soon to be sent to #Rwanda…

In each of these places, women are given systematic priority status over men; placed alongside children and the disabled, and put to the front of the queue.

But women aren’t children, and being a woman isn’t a disability either.

Of course - yes, there are privileges to being a man too.

We know what they are and useful discussion is being had already to help rebalance these.

But yet again, the unpopular other half of the story remains untold and guarded by trolls, so allow me to share with you a few pages of what you probably never knew…
