The world is always divided, into smaller and smaller chunks.
Groups of people who tear each other down; living in a society divided by politics, by identity, by culture, by race, by gender, by sexuality…
And yet we share *so many* of the same fundamental beliefs, ideas, wants and dreams.
We all want fairness, peace, equality, safety and opportunity.
But we fight.
Listening less, shouting more and continuing to ignore our similarities, whilst highlighting our differences.
All the while we ignore the only true divide between us. The one that has oppressed and trodden upon all groups of people - for all of time.
A group of real privilege, that shrinks in size, yet grows in power.
The one we never discuss...
