Here is a thought experiment for which I would really like honest answers. The question is about #maledisposability and asks what you would do if the genders were reversed? Sadly the phenomenon of male disposability reaches far beyond war deaths. It explains the extraordinary number of male workplace fatalities; it helps us understand male homelessness, male suicides rates, the deterioration of men’s health and why we often treat male victims of violence as secondary. When will we be ready to talk about male disposability?
